Mason Kerwick was born and raised in Austin, Texas. He graduated from L.C. Anderson High School, where he was selected as one of 14 seniors representing "Who's Who" of the class of 2010.
An avid lover of theater, Mason has performed in over 25 plays and won four U.I.L. acting awards; he is also the current logo for KidsActing. On screen Mason has appeared in the television series The Lying Game, Friday Night Lights and True Women, and the feature film Jumping Off Bridges. Over the past few years Mason has worked on numerous short films, including executive producing The Substitute. Mason recently co-wrote, directed, and produced The Innocent Maleficent, which premiered at the Silverscreen Film Festival, where it won best film.
Mason began his college career at Texas Christian University, and has since transferred to the University of Missouri. When not performing academic work, he is a member of MU Improv, Alternative Spring Break and Cupcake Club. Also a member of the MU Triangle Coalition, he was elected their communications officer for the 2012-2013 academic year. Mason is currently majoring in journalism and minoring in anthropology, with plans to graduate in 2014. He will begin a summer internship with The Food Channel in May.
In his down time, Mason enjoys baking homemade treats, volunteering in the community and reading science fiction novels. He also has his own YouTube show, Mason Planet, where he expresses his opinions, talks to friends, and gives holiday decorating tips.
